Turkish Citizenship by Real Estate Investment

Terms of acquisition of Turkish citizenship by real estate investment in Turkey is amended on 19th of Sep,2018. Investment amount which was 1.000.000$ previously has been revised to 250.000$.

In Turkey, investors who have purchased at least 250.000$ worth of immovable properties or have signed legalized contract of promise to sell immovable by notary will have right to apply for Turkish citizenship. Investors have have to commit not to sell immovable property within three years.

This privelege is not given to only the investor who has purchased the immovable property but also spouse and children under the age of 18 can benefit. Citizenship applications with misleading documents will not be taken into consideration. Another important issue is whether the real estate is suitable for citizenship or not.

We would like to draw your attention that it’s important to get consultancy during the application process. Our expert team provides service by following up application process on behalf of investor after the transfer of title deed or signed and legalized contract of promise to sell immovable by notary.
